At night we found the lights hitting the canal to create a colorful shimmering silhouette against the water. Many movies have been made in Venice during the evening hours because the scenery is so spectacular. During the daytime there are many more people out strolling the boulevard than at night. Though once the tourists are tucked away and the sun falls from the sky, Venice keeps exhibiting its distinguished european beauty for all the world to see.
