Maasai Mara Reserve
Throughout the safari we were in awe to see these beautiful beasts in their natural habitat. It was so amazing to get this close to untamed tonnage. At any point this animal could come and turn us over in the van. The large male below was off by himself but stopped his eating business to make sure we had moved on away from the area.
A mother and child stop for a meal of long grass. The mother can see us and looks up readying herself if it becomes necessary to defend her young calf. Our safari driver kept the engine running in case the mother began to charge.
