The locals are enjoying the warm sunshine at a local waterfront. Young and old take off their shoes, shirts and pull up their skirts and ease into the cool waters or lounge on the rocks on a hot day. We took off our shoes and rolled up our pants then dipped our toes in the clear blue sea.

 

There are a lot of people walking throughout the night, as well as a row of hotels and restaurants overlooking the water. Armed soldiers are always nearby on patrol in the most popular areas of town on twenty-four hour shifts.
