Airstream Life
We purchased our 27ft International Serenity Airstream in January 2016 and immediately fell in love with the lifestyle and simplicity we experienced. We have taken her across the county twice so far visiting: Monterey, San Luis Obisbo, Los Angeles, San Diego, Arizona, San Antonio, New Orleans, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, North & South Carolina, Virginia, District of Columbia, New Jersey, Toronto, Cleveland, Chicago, Wyoming and more.
I will be sharing pictures of those adventures with you on the attached Travel pages. This page is an introduction to our little beauty and to talk a bit about how we got started Airstreaming!

Why We Bought An Airstream?
We had been looking for an Airstream after researching RV's. We found that the Airstream was the only travel trailer with zero feedback for major repairs and great resale value.
Every Airstream owner that I have encountered or have read about said that they would either keep their Airstream or purchase another Airstream.
This type of feedback was music to ours ears.
Once we found the Airstream that we loved, with perfect interior color, and size, we started packing for our first trip together.
We drove to sunny Southern California.
While Johnny learned to drive a trailer, I learned that coaching from the passenger seat is not good for a relationship 🙄

After taking our first trip out we decided to pack all of our belongings and become full time travelers.
Let me explain...I am a 13 year Lupus survivor. My health had began to take many turns. We did not want to continue living life modestly in a house with walls. So we ventured into a life of adventure where the natural surroundings became our home.
Johnny retired after thirty years of heavy lifting at United Parcel Service, and I was already medically retired, the kids were grownup which means we had nothing to lose. Three years later we are still traveling. If given an option now, we both agree that we would do this all again in a heartbeat!
These are interior photos. We were heading out for the first time.

When I get a chance I will upload a more current interior view of our Airstream.
